2. Why are you taking this class and what do you hope to learn
I am taking this class as a GE requirement. However, I chose this specific class out of the many options because it looked fairly interesting. I am hoping to learn more about specific aspects of culture in America as well as other countries.

3. How far do you live from SRJC main campus
I live 2.4 miles away from the JC.

4. What do you think of when you think "California"? Does this differ from what non-Californians think and if so, how?
When I think of California, I think of all of the different aspects of my home state. I think of all of our beautiful mountains, rivers and beaches. The word that comes to my mind is "diversity," not only in population but also in landscape, climate, layout and culture. Sometimes, it seems like non-Californians see California with a limited perspective. Many people who have never lived in California simply view it as a whole state that is exactly like San Francisco or Los Angeles.

5. Have you created a blog or webpage in the past?
I created a website for a Speech & Debate team a few years ago and I have both a MySpace and a Facebook, though I'm not sure if either of those count as a blog.
